Introduction

In this lesson you are going to learn the basics of databases. To do this, you will use Microsoft Access. Many people shy away from using databases as they think they are too complicated. In this lesson you will learn that this isn't totally true - and you'll begin to see this yourself.

You will examine exactly what a database is, learn the conventions of databases (how data needs to be handled) and then plan and build your own.

Explore the effects of changing the variables in a computer model.

Check accuracy of data in order to organise and process using ICT.
